The University of New Orleans Office of External Affairs

The Office of External Affairs is the representative of the University of New Orleans on issues relevant to the University with local and state government officials and the liaison with city, parish, and state governmental agencies.  The Office of External Affairs is also responsible for support in campus development, government and community affairs, and campus communications. We help the community and members of the University get involved in  improving the University and promoting legislation that helps to support the University of New Orleans. Led by Vice Chancellor Rachel Kincaid, the office encompasses community relations, alumni affairs, and special events.

The goals of the Office of External Affairs are to increase the visibility and support of the University of New Orleans by working with members of the Louisiana State Legislature and local governments throughout Louisiana, especially Orleans parish. Additionally, the Office also works to increase understanding and support for university related federal and state agendas, focusing on federal and state initiatives.
